My dog recently escaped. My dad said if we don't find him by the first of august (current its july 29th) we'll get another. The animal shelter doesn't have any good dogs since Scout looked like a loyal buddy but is scared of everything and isn't house trained. What dogs have all these? easy to train good in high chance of 4-5 ft of snow in -20 F weather (Northern usa not maine) loves you no matter what doesn't shed to much (it gets into my eyes and nose making i run or my eyes itch and water.) good on a leash doesn't dig or is easily angered isn'tnt one to like ONLY rough housing (not destructive) and has enough energy. (i'm somewhat lazy/hyper and will go for a good run when I'm in the mood. Otherwise I know a great fenced in area for the public to let it run in off a leash.) my dad doesn't want yorkies, chiwawa (whatever), westies, pit bulls, and German shepard is a bit to big and hyper. Also we are getting a puppy. Scout was 11 mths so he wasn't the easiest. All I ask from Y! A people is to give breed names (maybe with tiny de pics) and I'll research certain ones myself. Just pleas don't clutter my question by saying "idk!" ,don't go for a breeder go to the shelter!" (they don't have any puppies) "get a cat" (if scout comes back when we replace he'll run for good from a cat. ever the most timid cat could kick the crap outta that dog.) the gate must have bounced back and was left open so scout escaped Scout was a husky lab mix. gold colors and floppy ears from lab and rest from husky so the shelter called him a husky dominate...
